I’ve been preparing for the college placement exam—really brushing up on my algebra. The last time I took the test, I scored an 8.5 on math; I need at least a 10.0 to avoid taking remedial math. I scored 12.9’s in reading, wring, and language, so I’m okay there. I should be taking the exam at the end of this month. If all goes well, I’ll begin taking courses in the Fall. I’m looking forward to that.

I finished writing my autobiography, “Lost Child, Broken Man,” and I’m looking for an agent to represent my work. Hope it doesn’t take too long. I’m a big fan of “instant gratification.” I think it is a good read, but then, I’m biased.

Page Publishing has notified me that they’ve finished the cover design for “Stygian,” my book of poetry, and it will be sent to the printers soon. I’m happy with what they have done with my cover ideas. The book should be available in one to two months, both in print and electronically.cover

I guess the only thing left to do now is sort taking notes and preparing to write my next book, “Cell Block 20” about prison life. Well, that’s the working title anyway. I need to do some research, and then I can get this train rolling. I’ve also got an idea for a short story called “Fan Mail.” Time to start writing!
