Intrigue

May 15, 2014

To intrigue, I believe is to rouse curiosity in a person. If you want to have a person in your life, you must intrigue that individual through the use of your natural abilities: a song, a smile, a conversation, or whatever it may be.

This stands try from childhood to adulthood. One child may show another child an action figure, doll, deck of trading cards, marbles, etc. to interest another into playing with them and to share their toys in the games. This is where friendship begins.

A teenage boy may write or sing a song to a teenage girl in order to receive her attention and affection. It’s a start.

Grown neighbors may talk about their cars or their lawn or some feature of their home…an interesting story, something.

Intrigue, I guess, is where the bond begins.

Where does it break and end?
